Our classes focus on real-life language skills and integration into Canada. The focus is on teaching you the conversation skills you will need to find employment and succeed in Canada; learning about Canadian Culture, and living in Lloydminster. We offer extra opportunities to succeed, with workshops on resume building, workplace professionalism and mock interviews. We also offer opportunities to learn about the how policing works in Canada with a talk from the RCMP. 

Registration Process

In order to register, you must take a placement assessment.
This takes anywhere from 1 -2 hours, as your skills speaking, listening, reading and writing are all measured.
Once assessed, please pay the $50 fee.
Your level will be assessed and you will be called a few days later with your class information.

January 28 – April 10, 2025 (No Class February 18 or 20)
Tues. & Thurs. evenings
6:30-8:30 pm
Lakeland College, Lloydminster
Cost: $50 for entire term.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

LLCA reserves the right to cancel the workshop if registration is low. We will contact registrants if this occurs.  

Refunds will be issued if a program is cancelled. Refunds will not be made after registration. Registration may be transferable to another person. Refunds may be made in the event of a personal emergency. Requests must be made in writing. $20 charge on all NSF cheques.
