ELL Spring Classes!
These are less formal than our September and January terms. With a variety of topics and skill levels there is an opportunity for everyone to keep learning English until September classes start again.
(Our regular ELL Leveled classes, ELL Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, will return in September 2025.)

Learn to speak English is a fun and relaxed way. Classes start in September and run for 10 weeks, and the winter term begins in January. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Lakeland College, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Please come to the office to register and you will do a test to place you in the class.
Fee: $50
Registration Fees may be waived. Please speak to the Registrar.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
LLCA reserves the right to cancel the workshop if registration is low. We will contact registrants if this occurs.
Refunds will be issued if a program is cancelled. Refunds will not be made after registration. Registration may be transferable to another person. Refunds may be made in the event of a personal emergency. Requests must be made in writing. $20 charge on all NSF cheques.
Since 2023, LLCA has introduced community integration into our English Language classes through field trips. The purpose is to provide real-life learning experiences to newcomers so they can practice their skills. Over the years, they’ve enjoyed curling with the Lloydminster Curling club, Bobcats games, tours of Lloydminster thanks to Border City Connects, visits to the Servus Centre and museum, the Library, Safeway, Second Cup the Home Hardware garden centre and the RCMP building. We are so thankful to our community for providing discounted rates and sponsorships to allow us to provide this to our ELL classes.
